This Regulation enters into force on the day of its publication.
Résumé

This Decree, approves the Regulation of Mining Act and its Annexes. The Regulation, consisting of 7 Chapters and 11 Annexes, specifies requirements, terms and conditions to perform activities in mining sector. It establishes registry and main competences, mining licensing procedures, promotion of mining activities, monitoring and inspection procedures, applicable sanctions and penalties. Annexes specify model forms to be filled to request a mining activity authorization within the land under the Mozambican jurisdiction.
