Exempted from this prohibition are feeding products that are documented to observe maximum limits for cadmium contents in accordance with Decree No. 1290 of 2002. Feeding stuffs that contain more cadmium than permitted shall be destroyed in accordance with Decree No. 930 of 2004. The regional office of the Food Safety Agency may grant exemptions from the requirements of this Decree.
