Résumé

This Decree-Law establishes the maximum limits of hexaclorocycle-hexane to be discharged in water and soil according to EC Council Directive No. 84/491 of 9 October. The main objective of this Decree-Law is to establish quality standards, methods for treatment, disposal and control the hexaclorocycle-hexane (HCH). It consists of 11 articles and 1 annex specifying the aforementioned activities in order to avoid environmental pollution. This Decree-Law shall apply for the water discharge in: surface inland waters, estuary water, coastal waters, territorial waters and soil. It establishes water quality standards in order to protect, preserve and improve water resources and their different uses. It defines different water use and establishes responsibilities of competent authorities entitled to manage and carry out control on water (including for human consumption, water treatment, aquaculture, recreational water, irrigation, etc.). Annex concerns maximum limits and procedures for the certification.
