It aims at performing the following activities: partially transferring to the National legislation the above mentioned EU Directive related to the promotion and use of energy originated from renewable sources, amending EU Directive No. 2001/77/CE, and No. 2003/30; establishing the renewable energy National goals for renewable energy use, including transports; defining methods of calculation for energy quota originated from renewable energy; and establishing the mechanism for issuing guarantee of origin for electricity originated from renewable energy.
