Résumé These Regulations determine the measures to be taken against Clavibacter michiganensis (Smith) Davis et al. ssp. (Spieckermannet Kotthoff) Davis et al., which is the cause of potato ring rot, in order to prevent its occurrence and spread. The Plant Health Department shall conduct official surveys on a systematic basis for the organism on tubers and plants of potato originating in Malta (reg. 3). If the occurrence of the organism is suspected, or its presence is confirmed, the Plant Health Department shall be reported (reg. 4). Regulation 5 describes the measures to be implemented where the presence of the organism is confirmed.
