Moreover, the Act amends several other sections concerning inter alia: (a) the sphere of application of the Act; (b) the appointment and powers of Assistant Registrars of Pesticides; (b) the composition and functions of the Pesticide Technical and Advisory Committee; (c) the procedure for the registration of pesticides; (d) the granting of the licence by the Registrar; (e) the prohibition of selling pesticides without a certificate to be issued by an authorized officer (new Section 21A); (f) offences and penalties.
