Résumé

By virtue of this Decision Member States are allowed to authorize the introduction into their territory of potatoes intended for planting, originating in the regions of Akkar and Bekaa of Lebanon, by way of derogation of the conditions laid down under Council Directive 2000/29/EC. A phytosanitary certificate is required. This Decision further lays down provisions on points of entry, inspections by Member States and labelling. The Annex sets forth detailed conditions for import in order to prevent the spread of harmful organisms.
