Résumé The objective of these Regulations is to set up a committee with the aim of achieving a “holistic multi-partite” approach for the implementation of the Export and Imports of Dangerous Chemicals Regulations, 2002, and for the management of all chemicals affecting the environment. “Chemical substances” is defined in article 3. The Committee here created shall be the National Competent Authority for regulating the export and imports of dangerous chemicals and the placing on the market of those chemicals. Persons requiring a permit under the main regulations shall submit notifications for a permit to the Committee in accordance with article 8.
