Entry into force notes
The present Ordinance enters into force on 1 January 2011.
Résumé

The present Ordinance lays down provisions relating to emergency measures to prevent the spread of western corn rootworm. In areas where maize is grown, each year an official survey shall be conducted to detect this disease. When the results of those surveys confirm the presence of the organism in an area which was previously known to be free from the organism, demarcated zones shall be defined. The text consists of 7 articles divided into 3 Parts as follows: General provisions (I); Measures in certain areas (II); Entry into force (III).
