According to the Regulation, it is permitted to cultivate genetically modified crop varieties that are included in the Latvian Catalogue of Plant Varieties, the Common Catalogue of Varieties of Agricultural Plant Species of the European Union or the Common Catalogue of Varieties of Vegetable Species of the European Union.
