It also amends the definition of ‘animal’ so as to include camelids, requires that any conditions in a declaration of zones or condition of a licence must be complied with, sets out powers veterinary inspectors, allows an operator of a slaughterhouse in a surveillance zone to slaughter an animal from a protection zone only if licensed to do so and provides with respect to animal movements from restricted zones to premises in a free area and movement of vaccinated animals.
