In particular, the Ordinance aims, inter alia, at reducing the life cycle greenhouse gas emissions. The text – consisting of 24 articles – deals with the following aspects: sphere of application, definition of concepts, specification of fuels, assessment, electricity from renewable energy sources, sustainability criteria, sustainability certificate, registration, recognition of certification systems, recognition of inspection organs, verification and control, reporting duty, compensation of fees, transitional provisions, entry into force and repeal and enforcement of EU law.
