Résumé

The present Act implements the Directive 2012/18/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council on the control of major-accident hazards involving dangerous substances, amending and subsequently repealing Council Directive 96/82/EC. In particular, the Act introduces substantial amendments to the Hazardous Incident Ordinance in its version of 8 June 2005. The Act amends the following: article 18 on Authorization proceedings according to the Federal Immission Protection Act; Part IV on Reporting procedure, final provisions; the Annex IIIon Safety Management System; article 2 on Definition of terms; article 8 on Concepts to avoid accidents; article 8a on Information of the public is added ; article 11 on Extensive information of the public; article 15 on Domino effect; article 17 on Surveying pland and surveying programme; article 20 on Transitional provisions; article 21 on Penalties. Also the Annex is reworded. The text consists of 4 articles.
