Entry into force notes
The Paragraph 1 of Article 6 as well as Articles 7, 8 and 9 shall enter into force on 1 January 2020, other provisions shall enter into force on the day it is published in the Official Gazette.
Resumen

This Notification establishes specific requirements for the marketing of active and intelligent materials and articles intended to come into contact with food. This Notification shall apply to active and intelligent materials and articles which are placed on the market. This Notification sets forth provisions on placing on the market of active and intelligent materials and articles, list of substances that may be used in active and intelligent components, conditions for inclusion of substances in the list, content of the list, conditions for the establishment of the list, conditions of use for substances not to be included in the list, labeling, declaration of compliance, documentation, sampling and analysis methods, and administrative sanctions. This Notification is drafted in accordance with the Commission Regulation (EC) No 450/2009 of 29 May 2009 on active and intelligent materials and articles intended to come into contact with food.
