They add regulation 13G prescribing rules relative to prevention of oil pollution in the event of collision or stranding and in particular prescribe the duty for existing tankers to comply with requirements of Regulation 13F of the principal Regulations. Certain ships may be exempted by the Minister (comma 5 of regulation 13G) and the State shall be entitled to deny entry of an exempted oil tanker operating into the ports or offshore terminals under its jurisdiction (comma 8).
