Resumen This Regulation prescribes the conditions for performing activities such as marking of wild animals. A legal entity may mark wild animals provided that: 1) is entered in the register of the ministry responsible for veterinary affairs for performing veterinary activities; 2) possesses appropriate marking equipment; 3) possesses technical equipment for keeping records in electronic and written form for the needs of timely notification to the ministry responsible for nature protection affairs; 4) has at least one employed or contracted person, responsible for marking activities. A legal entity that has been established as a scientific and professional organization and which is authorized to perform professional activities of nature protection, may mark wild animals seized in the procedure of inspection supervision of the same, in addition to the conditions as specified in article 3. A legal entity may mark birds with a seamless foot ring for its own needs if, in addition to the conditions referred to in article 2 (items 2, 3 and 4), meets the following conditions: 1) that it is registered as an association in accordance with the law governing the registration and establishment of associations, whose goals are aimed at the protection and welfare of birds; 2) to have a permit from for animal breeding; 3) to have a permit for a zoo and/or animal shelter. A natural person may mark birds with a seamless foot ring for his own needs, provided that he has a permit for bird breeding or keeping.
