Resumen This Regulation, consisting of 72 sections divided into ten Parts, implements the Recreation Areas Management Act 2006 by providing specifications on the management of continuing recreation areas as follows: (1) Each continuing recreation area is described in schedule 1. (2) A copy of a plan mentioned in schedule 1, part 1 may be inspected, free of charge, during business hours at the department’s head office. (3) In this section: continuing recreation area means an area of land— (a) set apart and declared to be a recreation area under the repealed Act; and (b) continued in existence as a recreation area under section 235 of the Act. The Regulation provides for permits required under the Act and prescribes restrictions on the use of vehicles, the taking of animals and plants and the depositing of waste into recreation areas. Part 4 specifies requirements to use vehicles, vessels and recreational craft in recreation areas.
