Entry into force notes

The Decree shall enter into force as from 15 March 2012. After the entry into force of the present Decree, fishing vessels falling under the obligation of using the equipment AIS, VDR or S-VDR shall be liable for sanctions as prescribed under article 27 of Presidential Decree No. 49/2005, after three (03) months from the publication of the present Decree.

Resumen

Aim of the present Decree is to amend certain provisions of Presidential Decree No. 49/2005 in compliance with Commission Directive 2011/15/EU. The Decree adopts all the wording amendments of the Directive and replacement of the Annexes connected thereto. In particular, Annex II.I refers to the requirements applicable to on-board equipment in fishing vessels.
