This Order enters into force 31 calendar days after the date of its official publication.

Resumen

This Order establishes the requirements that must be observed when issuing veterinary and sanitary certificates, as well as ensuring veterinary control, laboratory tests and other veterinary and sanitary provisions to determine the state of animal health and safety of products of animal origin and other commodities subject to state veterinary and sanitary control in order to protect animal health and public health. The National Food Safety Agency ensures that veterinarians have the necessary knowledge regarding the requirements of veterinary and sanitary regulations in relation to products subject to certification and, in general, that they are aware of the rules that must be observed when issuing certificates. The veterinarian does not enter into the veterinary-sanitary certificate and medical records information that he does not personally know or which he cannot verify. Certificates/declarations for domestic traffic are drawn up in Romanian, using clear terminology. Certificates issued for export are drawn up in Romanian, or in the language of the destination country, or in the language of international communication. If the official veterinarian does not speak the language of the destination country or another language of international communication, the applicant may choose to have them certified bearing the cost of their translation. Commodities subject to veterinary and sanitary control intended for export must be subject to veterinary and sanitary certification and be signed by official veterinarians. Export of products and by-products of animal origin intended for public consumption is carried out under the conditions established by the importing country, in accordance with the sample certificate approved by the parties. The export of live animals whose traceability cannot be established is prohibited. Certification of live animals for export is carried out under the conditions established by the importing country, according to the sample certificate approved by the parties. Animal feed (feed grain) from the territory of the Republic of Moldova intended for export must comply with the conditions put forward and established by the importing country, and must also be accompanied by a certificate agreed between the parties.
