Resumen

The Ordinance shall apply to any vessel that is capable of carrying in bulk, more than twenty-five tons of oil, or if not fitted to carry in bulk, more than five tons of oil (sect. 2). The Ordinance applies to territorial waters of Grenada. Section 3 prescribes a penalty for discharge of oil. It shall not be lawful to transfer oil from or to any vessel at night (sect. 4). There shall be kept a record for every vessel involved in transfer of oil (sect. 5). The Financial Secretary may appoint public officers for purposes of inspection under section 8. Section 9 makes provision for legal proceedings in relation with offences. (9 sections)
