Resumen This Decree lays down general rules for the use of the term “Local Wine” as descriptive element of table wine in compliance with (i) article 72 of Council Regulation (EEC) No 822/87 on the common organization of the market in wine, and (ii) articles 2, 3, 4 and 5 of Council Regulation (EEC) No 2392/89 laying down general rules for the description and presentation of wines and grape musts. The provisions of this decree shall apply to table wines except for Retsina wine (a Greek wine flavoured with resin). The detailed rules laid down herewith shall apply as regards the geographical area of production and description (commercial name and labelling) of the products concerned.
