After that date, an Irish boat of 55 feet or more in length fishing in the specified area may not have or retain on board or land more than 2 tonnes of ling during a specified period. Other Irish sea-fishing boats fishing for ling in the specified area may not have or retain on board or land more than 1 tonne of ling during this period. The Regulations also provide with respect to prima facie evidence in relation with offences.
