This Law concerns: establishment of the Plant Protection Products and Biocides Council as the competent authority; appointment of its members; delegation of Council powers; responsibilities of the Department of Agriculture on receipt and evaluation of applications and submission of data, on ensuring compliance with the provisions of this Law and the related Regulations, on coordinating cooperation with the European Commission, the European Food Safety Authority, the other Member States, applicants, producers and farmers on matters of plant protection products.
