Resumen

The purpose of the establishment of sensitive natural areas is: the conservation, maintenance of nature protective farming methods on ecologically sensitive lands; the marking out of further plots to ensure the protection of habitats; the conservation of biological diversity and landscapes through voluntary restrictions incited by subsidies. This Decree deals with the marking out, establishment and maintenance of sensitive natural areas, as well as the incentive of nature protective farming in such areas through the determination of general rules of subsidization. The criteria for the marking out of sensitive natural areas are set out in Article 3. The minimum size of sensitive natural areas is 3000 hectares. Administrative proceedings of the establishment of sensitive natural areas and rules of subsidization of farming on such areas are set out in Articles 4-12. The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development calls for application for subsidization. Subsidization is subject to a contract. Annex 1 lists sensitive natural areas by categories (high importance, important, planned).
