The text of the Act consists of (inter alia) the following sections: Establishment of the Authority (sect. 3); Objects of the Authority (sect. 4); Powers of the Minister (sect. 5); The Board (sect. 6); General Manager (sect. 8); General Fund (sect. 12); Irrigation Areas (sect. 14); Preparation of Irrigation Projects (sect. 15); Implementation of Irrigation Projects (sect. 16); Compulsory Acquisition of Land (sect. 18); Irrigation due in favour of the Authority (sect. 19); Privilege to Secure Payment of Irrigation Due (sect. 20); Regulations (sect. 21). The Authority is established as a body corporate.
