No. 106/1993). In particular, the Act adds article 2a concerning the definition of “portable equipment” and article 2b containing definition of terms such as “producer”, “placing on the marketing”, “authorized representative”, “importer”, “dealer”, “technical specification”, “harmonized standards”. Furthermore, the Act adds article 7a on Notification and article 7b on Notification procedures, article 7c on Obligation of notified bodies in relation to their work, article 7d on Reporting obligations of notified bodies; article 7e on Appeals against a decision of notified bodies; article 9a on Obligation of economic operators and article 9b on Duly authorized persons, article 9 c on Obligations of importers, article 9d on Obligations of dealers, article 9e on Circumstances in which obligations of manufacturers apply also to exporters and distributors, 9f on Identification of economic operators, 9g on Coordination of market surveillance, article 9h on Surveillance of the Union market, control of electrical equipment imported in the Union market. Moreover, the Act amends article 9 dealing with monitoring of electrical installations.
