"Animal by-product" means any carcase or part of any animal or fish or any product of animal origin not intended for direct human consumption with the exception of animal excreta and catering waste. High and low-risk animal by-products, as listed in the First Schedule Parts I and II respectively, shall not be used, sold, offered for sale, processed, disposed of, incorporated into animal feedingstuffs or petfood, supplied, stored or otherwise dealt with for any purpose except in compliance with these Regulations.
