Resumen These Regulations provide for the disposal, treatment, management, storage and transport of scheduled wastes. Scheduled wastes means any waste falling within the categories of waste listed in the First Schedule attached to these Regulations. Every waste generator shall make sure that any scheduled wastes generated shall be properly stored, treated on-site, delivered to and received at prescribed premises for treatment, disposal or recovery of material or product from scheduled wastes. Every waste generator shall ensure that scheduled wastes that are subjected to movement or transfer be packaged, labelled and transported in accordance with the guidelines prescribed by the Director General. Attached to these Regulations are 7 schedules that deal with the following matters: notification of scheduled wastes; labelling requirement for scheduled wastes explosive substances; inventory of scheduled wastes; consignment note for scheduled wastes; information.
