It places certain duties on the owner or person in charge of premises where swine are farmed. He or she shall develop and put in place a programme for the control of salmonella in accordance with these Regulations. Special measures shall be taken for swine from herds where there is a prevalence in excess of a level set by the Minister indicated by analysis or otherwise.
