The last consolidated version of this Decree entered into force on 1 April 2015. Resumen Article 3 establishes the Waste Classification Board. Annex 1 contains the operating rules of the Board and rules of proceeding in the determination of hazardousness of waste (Article 4 of the Decree). This Decree contains general rules on the treatment of hazardous waste in Articles 5-9., on the collection and storage of hazardous waste in Articles 10-13. (Annex 3), on the transport of hazardous waste in Articles 14-15. (Annex 2 contains the regulation of domestic transport of hazardous waste).Rules regarding pre-treatment, utilization, neutralisation of hazardous waste are set out in Articles 16-20. The utilization of hazardous waste must be authorized by the territorially competent environmental protection inspectorate. Hazardous waste treating technologies are classified too. Annex 4 determines the classification proceedings regarding technologies. Emergency situationa are ruled in Articles 23-24. Treatment of hazardous waste must be authorized according the rules of Article 25-32. This Decree foresees also sanctions for offenders (restriction of the sphere of activity, suspension of activity, penalty). Annex 5 determines the authorities involved in the authorization process related to hazardous waste.
