Fish products may be marketed as long as they comply with the requirements prescribed under article 4. The fish and fish products mentioned in article 6 shall not be placed on the market. Further provisions concern inspection, including checks carried out by the European Community Commission. In case of infringement, the penalties laid down in Act No. 85 of 29 October 1992 shall be applied. Further provisions are set out in the Annex attached, with particular regard to the measures to be applied on fishing vessels as well as during unloading.
