Resumen

This Decree prohibits fishing with conventional gear for cod, haddock and coalfish north of 62° N in 2009, excepted fishing by fishermen that meet criteria laid down by the Decree regulating participation by young fishermen in fishing for cod, haddock and coalfish north of 62° N in 2009. "Young fishermen" shall have an age between 12 and 25 years old. They shall be registered with the Directorate of Fisheries. The Decree further specifies the gear that may be used, regulates landing and bycatch and prescribes offences.
