Resumen

This Instrument prescribes cess payable under section 26(2) of the Cotton Development Act on the sales value of lint cotton sold at every ginnery. It also stipulates that: the money collected by the Uganda Ginners and Cotton Exporters Association as a cess under the authority of the Cotton Development Organisation is deemed to have been lawfully collected; all money received by the Cotton Development Organisation in payment of such cess has been lawfully paid to and received by it; and any unpaid part of such cess is lawfully payable to the Cotton Development Organisation.
