Resumen

This Regulation, composed of 17 sections, gives definitions and makes provisions for marking procedures of camels. Section 1 gives definitions. Section 2 prohibits the passing of possession, the purchasing or the holding, of a three months old and elder camel unless camel is marked according to this regulation. Sections 3 and 4 provide for powers given to the government veterinarian doctor or to an inspector to set a notification, for a specified area, in which are listed the places and dates for the marking of camels. The holder of camels in the specified area is obliged to bring the camels in his possession for marking. Section 5 deals with marking procedures. Section 6 gives the holder of camels, the permission to demand the marking of his camels by a government veterinarian doctor or an inspector in the date and places decided by them within two months from marking request date. Section 7 provides for special marking procedures. Sections 8-12 provide for labelling procedures. A person shall not remove a label from a camel unless authorized to do so by the Director of the Animal Department. A person shall not replace a broken or removed label by himself. Sections 13 and 14 deal with camels’ death and labels’ removal. Section 15 provides for marking tax for each animal. Section 16 obliges the camel holder to provide with any assistance required in the marking and labelling procedures. Section 17 sets the name for this regulation.
