Decides, in accordance with paragraph 7 (a) of Article 8 of the Convention, and taking into account that a lack of full scientific certainty should not prevent a proposal from proceeding, that chlordecone is likely, as a result of its long-range environmental transport, to lead to significant adverse human health and environmental effects such that global action is warranted; 5. Decides furthermore, in accordance with paragraph 7 (a) of Article 8 of the Convention and paragraph 29 of decision SC-1/7 of the Conference of the Parties to the Stockholm Convention, to establish an ad hoc working group to prepare a risk management evaluation that includes an analysis of possible control measures for chlordecone in accordance with Annex F to the Convention; 6. Invites, in accordance with paragraph 7 (a) of Article 8 of the Convention, Parties and observers to submit to the Secretariat the information specified in Annex F for chlordecone before 2 February 2007.
