The holder of a licence issued by the Zambia Wildlife Authority may hunt elephants for sport as defined in regulation 3. Conditions are specified as to season, size of the elephant, area, number, ownership and exportation of trophy, disposal of remains, etc. The Authority shall enter into an agreement with holders of an exclusive hunting concession with respect to hunting of elephants for sport and the Authority shall maintain a register containing details regarding sport hunting as specified in regulation 9.
