Clause 2 of Schedule 1 comes into force on 28 February 2022. Regulations 84 and 85, which relate to the simulated recall of wine, come into force on 1 July 2023. Abstract These regulations are made under the Wine Act 2003 (the Act) and reflect changes made to the Act as part of the new food safety regime established by the Food Safety Law Reform Act 2018. Part 1 of these regulations deals with the required content of wine standards management plans and other aspects, these include: obligations of the operator of a wine standards management plan; registering requirements for wine standards management plans and significant amendments to those plans, and some specific exemptions. Part 2 provides for safety standards for wine and commodities and Part 3 relates to good operating practices for wine processing.
