The present Ordinance enters into force on 1 January 2016.
Abstract

The present Ordinance enforces the Animal Protection Act of 23 September 2010. In particular, the Ordinance lays down requirements on the keeping of wild animals and dealing with them. The underlying idea is that animal feed, space and lightening must be adequate. The text consists of 20 articles divided into 7 chapters as follows: General provisions (I); Circus animals (II); Deer (III); Birds (IV); Fish (V); Non dangerous snakes (VI); final provisions (VII). One Annex is enclosed.
