Subject Wild species & ecosystems Keyword Wildlife products Registration Hunting authorization/permit Hunting authorization/permit fee Geographical area Africa, Eastern Africa, Least Developed Countries Abstract The Licensing Officer to whom any trophy is produced for registration shall, after being satisfied that the trophy was lawfully obtained: (i) weigh and mark the trophy; (ii) record various specified particulars of the trophy; (iii) issue in respect of the trophy a trophy certificate; (iv) record the particulars of such trophy certificate on the register of trophies as well as on the licence, permit or other authorization under which the animal from which the trophy came was hunted or otherwise killed (reg. 3). Every dealer of manufactured trophy shall label such trophy in accordance with provisions of regulation 5. Transfer of a trophy shall be accompanied with the certificate and a transfer permission obtained (reg. 6).
