The Service shall formulate policies regarding the conservation of fauna and flora, manage national parks, prepare and implement management plans, etc (sect. 3A). The Service shall be managed by a Board of Trustees (sect. 3B). A Kenya Wildlife Service Fund is established under section 5A forming part of the new Part IIA. The Board of Trustees may establish Wildlife Advisory Councils in respect of any area in which a national park or national reserve is situated.
