Abstract

Regulations to provide for the entrapment of wild animals, the keeping of captured animals and the exportation of wild animals. Every capture permit shall be in the form as set out in the Second Schedule (reg. 3). No person shall be granted a permit unless he holds a valid trapper's card in the form as set out in the Third Schedule (reg. 6). Regulation 10 provides various conditions for the granting of a capture permit. Notwithstanding any permit granted to any person no male animal in a herd or pregnant female or any of the animals specified shall be captured, save with the Director of Game (reg. 12). Remaining regulations deal with conditions of holding grounds and farms, keeping of animals captured, export containers and the export of captured animals in general. (32 regulations completed by 6 Schedules)
