Abstract

This Act grants power to the Cabinet to declare purposes of this Act, any species of animal to be an absolutely protected species or a partly protected species. In the case of partly protected species, the Cabinet shall specify the period or periods of time in the year in which such species is a protected animal and may impose quantity restrictions. Section 4 prohibits, prior written permission of the Cabinet the killing, injuring or trapping of protected animals, taking or destroying of eggs of any bird which is a protected animal; or disturbing, etc. of nesting places of any protected animal. Section 5 specifies powers of wildlife wardens as defined by section 2. (7 sections)
