Abstract

These Regulations provide rules relative to control on harvesting of wild salmon and trout by commercial fishing engines and rod and line in rivers specified in Schedule 2. The Regulations also prescribe total allowable catch and commercial fish licence quotas and provide for the use of specific tags in rivers which are identified in the Schedules. The Regulations continue Fishery District Committees in relation to each fishery district. A Committee shall decide the allocation of the total allowable catch applicable to a river.
