These Rules enter into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
Abstract

These Rules stipulate that every person having the control, custody or possession of any captive animal or any uncured trophy derived from such animal or any animal article shall apply for a certificate of ownership to the Chief Wild Life Warden or the authorised officer and declare the number and description of the animal or article under his control, custody or possession and the place where such animal or article is kept. Requirements and procedures to apply for this certificate are set out in the text.
