Abstract

The notice under section 55, comma c, to the Central Government or the State Government or any authorized officer, as the case may be, shall be given in the form "A" annexed in these rules. The person giving notice to the Central Government or the State Government or any authorized officer shall send the notice by registered post to: (a) The Director of Wild Life Preservation, Government of India in the Ministry of Environment and Forests, New Delhi; and (b)(i) The Secretary to the concerned State Government/Union Territory in charge of Wild life, or (ii) The Chief Wild Life Warden of the concerned State Government/Union Territory, or (iii) Any authorized officer of State Government/Union Territory. Notices concern alleged offences and relative complaints by persons other than Director of Wild Life Preservation and Chief Wild Life Warden.
