Abstract

This Order makes the provisions of the Whaling Industry (Regulation) Act, 1934 applicable to The Bahamas subject to the modifications and adaptations as specified in this Order. The Order provides that the provisions of the Act shall not apply to aborigines dwelling on the coasts of any of the territories to which the Order applies provided that those aborigines hunt exclusively for their own use and not for commercial purposes in connection with any third persons.
