Abstract

The present Regulations enact the Environmental Protection Act. Section 2 establishes that no person shall, without a license or a watercourse or wetland activity permit alter a watercourse or a wetland, or any part thereof, or water flow therein, in any manner, or engage in any of the activities in or on a watercourse or a wetland listed in this section. The text consists of 14 sections as follows: Definitions (I); Watercourses and wetlands (II); Buffer zones (III); Watercourse, wetland and buffer zone activity certificate (IV); Watercourse, wetland and buffer zone activity business license (V); Watercourse, wetland and buffer zone activity permit (VI); Grass headlands (VII); Cultivating on sloped land prohibition (VIII); Management plans (IX); Intensive livestock operations (X); Inspection and orders (XI); General (XII); Appeals (XIII); Offences and penalties (XIV).
