Abstract

The present Regulations enact section 25 of the Environmental Protection Act. In particular, the Regulations lay down provisions relating to the granting of licenses for drilling a well. The text – consisting of 13 sections – deals with the following matters: well driller’s and well contractor’s licenses, well construction report, well permits, groundwater exploration permits, groundwater extraction permits, general provisions concerning well construction, location of wells, well design, well completion, abandonment of wells, pump installation and offences.
