The Minister shall appoint the Chairman of the Board, whereas members of the Board shall elect the vice-chairman. Remaining provisions deal with formation of a quorum, appointment and re-appointment of members, retirement, vacancies, misbehaviour of members, etc. Persons that act in place of members appointed by Catchment Boards shall be appointed in the same manner.
