Abstract

These Regulations make provision for the registration of a water use in the sense of section 21 of the National Water Act. Section 26(1)(c) of the Act allows for registration of all water uses including existing lawful water use in terms of section 34(2). Any person who uses water in terms of section 21 of the Act must register such use on a form obtained from the Department.
